FRED ELLIS           LARA ELLIS

Mind'sEye Photography

Fred and Lara Ellis live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. They are both photographers, although Lara has always been on the model end of the camera until quite recently. Fred, on the other hand, has been a photographer for close to forty years. They met twelve years ago when Lara was working as a model for Fred in Oregon. Fred and Lara collaborate on all projects, from the actual shoot to the darkroom work.

They take great joy in their work and love being able to present sexuality and the human body for the celebration of life that it is. They work on a very personal basis with all of their models and feel very strongly that modeling should be a freeing experience for the model and allow them to discover more of themselves in the process.

Fred and Lara run Mind’sEye Photography from their combination studio/home in the mountains. They exhibit and sell their work in local galleries. They are also available to do portraits and other commissioned photography upon request. They can be reached at mindseye@shentel.net
