Sweetwater's Godrush

by CHRIS TOLIAN

Crazy little sweetwater took my hand and ran ran ran with it til our hands
turned into lips teasing my body on fire, sweetwater honey dripping from my
chin.  Big big eyes all earnest and amazed, tongue dancing slip sliding over
shaved and painted skin.

"Words, baby, words are only just symbols for ideas," she says.  Only just.
Swears she'll show  me, make me feel the ideas deep deep down soul rock
bottom experience.

Femme se Reposant by Henri Matisse

            "Gonna get a godrush, baby."

            "Godrush?"

            "You'll see, yes you will."

Swing, baby-o.  Let the jazz drift drive over us.  Swing and sway and gin
grin grind til the clouds part and the sun shines like a kiss from god.
Grass tickling our feet, our bodies as we fall naked vulnerable into the
stream.  Sleep sleep dream, baby-o.  Let me drink your sweetwater dripping
bliss.  Light a fire that burns burns burns til I'm consumed, devoured by
you.  Shiver under your fingers, your touch.  Not cold.  Hot.  That fire and
the sun and the sweet sweetwater.  Swing, baby-o.  Let the world drift drive
over us.  Swing, baby-o.  Sweetwater.

Popgoth fairy.  Can't say angel.  Can't say you want to lay with an angel,
taste that sweet sweetwater.  Dance with me, baby-o.  Let me hold you
against, tight against my body.  Melting.  Waver this side or that of the
world.  Sing me a song, baby-o.  Lips all curled in a tilted smile.  Close
breath plays across my ear, words barely there, pouring out in a smooth wisp
of cinnamon vanilla smoke.  Neon shimmering ideas.  Fall into you.  Hold me
hold me hold me.  Pray to you.  My world.  Crazy little sweetwater just
laughs and laughs and laughs, finger against my lips holding in the screams.

Tattoos and cherry lip gloss.  Shiny swirling dance across that painted
skin.  Slick wet.  Black black ink.  Fingers trace the pattern.  Up and down
and through skin skin skin.  That wild wild heat driving me a little more
crazy each moment.  Yearn burn.  Seen heaven in you, your voice.  Body.
Soon I'll be crazy as you, sweetwater baby-o.  Soon soon soon too soon.

"If you go, could you find me?"  I plead bleed.

Little sweetwater looks up at me, arms twining around my neck.

"No I couldn't cuz I went." She gets a look flashing cross her face.  Almost
a tear then the smile comes again.

Days and forever since she eased up to me, slid into this life.  Stole my
mind.  Yes yes yes.  I gave it up freely.  Still do.  Now she lets me scream
and rage and cry and I miss my sweet sweetwater.

See her across the room and weep in joyful pain.  Red red dress slit so high
up. Boots follow curves into more curves til I get dizzy lost in them.
Wings all glittery tucked away behind her naked naked back.  Smile to light
up the universe swallows me whole.

Laugh and cry and jump the jive.  Sweet water saying how much she missed me.
Hurt so bad had to come back.  Words sink back down my throat and all I do
is listen.  Voice violin mournful.  Leaving again.  And again and again
forever and ever and I can't take it.  I break scream rage.  Just had to see
you, she says.  Bright so bright brass wailings go all muted rust.  Dirt
taste of tears in my mouth.  I whirl and dance and flail out at the
impossible things.  Everything, sweetwater baby-o.  You are.  Take me take
me consecrate saturate bless me with your holy sweetwater fire forever and
ever and ever and I will be good I swear promise I will cross my heart and
you laugh and laugh and laugh til the tears fall opal down those high
cheeks.  Tear me apart, die to go, baby-o.  Melt into that smile.  That damn
smile that ties me up in your arms and legs and long long hair.  Eyes shine
so fine all big and blue.  I melt into them, drown once again like always.

Hands clap whipcrack and everything shifts.  Just a little.  Sweetwater
baby-o has no wings now.  She says they're there, just can't see them.  She
says this is the place where angels and devils play.  Slippery sidestep from
where we were.

City rushes by beneath us way way down where it can't touch us, touch this
place touch me here, baby, touch me.  Little bit of forever wrapped up and
given as this moment for no one to remember but us.  Whispering secrets that
shout truth like a soul kiss deep deep down where it feels far too good to
be right.

Sweetwater grabs my face.  Lips smear mine first time I really taste her.
Hotdamn cherry red.   All hot smoke and mind blowing orgasm and wild wild
dreams.  Cherry bliss trip.  A rough hard fuck.  The kind to break the stars
and send god screaming into and through and into nirvana again.  Messiah
sex.  Beautiful.  Grace and faith and delirious divine incantation.  Her
breath gut clenching moans.  Smoldering eyes burn soul to ash blown away in
the wind picked up by the waves and tossed back onto land to be reincarnated
again and again and again twisted spiraling off into eternity.  Sundogs howl
rainbows.  Mind and body pop pop pop over and over and over like bubbles in
champaign novas til I die right there, grinning up at sweetwater's
perfection.

Caught a groove so deep that it scorches heaven and fades the sun.  A riff
to pop the stars' cherries and ricochet round n round my brain til I drown
in dopamine vibes.  Hophead love, hallelujah!

I swear sweetwater baby-o caught herself a godrush, yes I do.  She lays me
down to skiddily bop into bed and wake up forever.
